Quly PoC

I created a proof-of-concept for Quly. The demo scene contains several scattered items, NPCs and locations just to showcase and demo some stuff for the game:

  • Moving Sun on the sky, with day/night cycle and dynamic shadows.
  • Multiple player Qules – select any of your choice or automatically pick the nearest one.
  • Jumps, demonstrating on-air bonus and damage on impact.
  • High speed roll with camera effects (motion blur, FOV change)
  • Power-ups for energy regeneration.
  • Power-up for flying.
  • Qule fission, for creating your offsprings.
  • Expand and retract your Qule. Expanded Qule needing motorized wheels in a bottom inventory slot to move.
  • Doors you can open and close.
  • Randomly placed trees you can chop down and get some wood from it.
  • Giant crystal you can harvest.
  • Stone maze with reverb.
  • Quest giver NPC, that wants you to bring him an item you pick up.
  • NPC, that puts you in a timed checkpoint race.
  • NPC turret, that will shoot you on a proximity.
  • NPC, that you can hire and it will follow you and help you fight.
  • Flying NPC, that will return your attack.
  • Ice rink with a puck, where you can score a goal.
  • Water pond, where you can swim and dive.
  • City with wandering NPC Qules, following defined path.
  • Police with a speed trap, that will chase you with lights and siren, if you go so fast the screen will blur.
  • Working moving belts, that can carry objects and Qules.
